Andressa Urach

Andressa Urach, then 15 years of age, was with Tiago Costa at the age of 15 and began dating Tiago. After three months of being together the couple moved in with him in his home. Arthur Urach Costa, born May 19, 2005, was the only child of the couple. Six years later the couple split because of marital problems. Andressa moved to the home of her mother with her son. In six months, Andressa Urach quit her job and had to leave her child in the care of his father. Her primary goal was to find a happier life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri, Para Viver the experiences she had with the sexual assault she endured as a young child. She suffered from age 2 to eight of abuse by the grandfather she adopted. She only managed to get out of this mess due to her foster mother's catching the act and Andressa returned to live with her mother. She didn't know about the abuse she suffered until Andressa published her memoir. According to interviews with her, the famous woman achieved what was for her impossible prior to her spiritual conversion. In other words, she's forgiven the person who abused her. One of the toughest decision I've made in my life was to contact the person who was sexually abusive. It was not an easy thing to accomplish. After a series of prayers and fasting vows, I called me to tell him that I had forgave and even pleaded for forgiveness. Then I asked for forgiveness without justifying myself. Mariste Urach discusses her feelings in an interview with Globo. She explains the way she reacted to the harassment that had occurred on her daughter.
