Jazmine Sullivan, the American singer/songwriter. The album she released as her debut Fearless, launched in 2008 to critically and commercial success was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. It came in the top spot on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified gold through the Recording Industry Association of America. It was followed by four singles, including Need U Bad and Bust Your Windows. Both of them made the Billboard Hot 100 top 40 chart. Need U Bad became Sullivan's sole and only top-ranked song on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Sullivan followed this with her sophomore studio album Love Me Back in 2010 that was praised by the critics. After a three-year-break, Sullivan was signed to RCA Records. In 2015 she released Reality Show under her label. It became her second Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums number-one. Her debut EP, Heaux Tales was released in 2021.
